Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist to join their growing team! For hematology, an internist with additional training who specializes in diseases of the blood, spleen and lymph glands. This specialist treats conditions such as anemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, leukemia and lymphoma. For medical oncology, an internist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancer and other benign and malignant tumors. This specialist decides on and administers chemotherapy for malignancy as well as consults with surgeons and radiotherapists on other treatments for cancer.
