The ideal candidate would be a physician who is able to ensure the improvement of our community's health through their exceptional and compassionate care.

The East Hawaii Health Cancer Center provides inpatient and outpatient medical services as a physician group and as a department of the Hospital.

• The Staff Oncologist provides professional medical assessment and care
  • At the Cancer Center
  • At Hilo Medical Center. 
• The physician is responsible for coordinating and rendering professional medical advice and making decisions on
  • Evaluations
  • Diagnoses
  • Rehabilitation
  • Referral and treatment services 

• Certification:  Board certification or Preparedness in Internal Medicine and Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
• Licensure:  Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii.
