Job Summary:

• Qualified candidates will be board certified/board prepared in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
• Family Medicine and Internal Medicine boarded candidates accepted with 6000 hours experience or 3yrs experience immediately prior to coming to HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital
• Will require ACLS & PALS
• Brand new free-standing emergency room with 10 beds plus trauma room opening July 2025
• Work alongside experienced healthcare professionals
• Telenuero and psych access for specialty support

• Independent contractor or employed opportunity

• Be supported by a team of Facility Physician Leaders (FPL), Assistant FPLs, Advance Practice Providers, and Director of Operations 

• Level II Trauma Center
• Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI from the American College of Cardiology
• The Joint Commission Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certification
• The Joint Commission Sepsis Program Certification
• American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Accreditation
• Cardiopulmonary CAP Accreditation
• College of American Pathologists Laboratory Accreditation
• Accreditation by American College of Radiology (ACR) in Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT and MRI.
