For over 40 years we have offered residential and inpatient treatment for Addiction Recovery, Trauma Recovery, Pain Recovery, Mood and Anxiety. The Sierra Tucson Model reflects a deep commitment to treating the whole person with integrated, individualized, evidenced-based treatments and integrative therapies.
Overview:
Working one on one with patients treating a variety of health concerns. It is common for patients to need treatment for nutritional deficiencies, anxiety, digestive upset and endocrine issues (including thyroid/hormonal/adrenal/blood sugar optimization). The patients can range from those who choose to not use prescription medications and ask for natural remedies to, more commonly, those who are on a multitude of prescriptions and seek additional care for their physical/mental disorders. Modalities employed include nutraceuticals, herbs, and homeopathy.
This position offers the opportunity to work as part of an interdisciplinary including psychiatrists and other psychiatric providers, physician assistants, dietitians, physical therapist, psychologists, clinical therapists and others. Our integrative department has a staff of 23 and includes 2 naturopathic doctors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, craniosacral therapists, shiatsu practitioners, zero balance practitioners, yoga instructors, and a personal trainer.
