Overview

 

As a system medical director, you will be responsible for collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. You will serve as a leader both within the emergency department, and as a leader within the organization. Through our model of shared ownership, you will influence on broad company decisions and help facilitate the development of new leaders.

Details 

  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and hospital administration
  • Supervise the EM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
  • Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff
  • Position will lead both Petaluma Valley and Healdsburg Hospitals
  •  Director stipend: approx $110k/year

  • Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W-2 base pay of $167/hour PLUS comprehensive USACS benefits, a 10% company-funded 401k and USACS ownership stock. Additional leadership stipend of approximately $110k/year.

Emergency Department

  • ED Volume: 18,000
  • Staffing Model: 33 hours
    • Physician hours/coverage: 33 hours
    •  12/12 physician shifts, 12-hour APP shifts
  • EMR: Epic with Dragon
  • Helipad for all emergency conditions requiring transfer
  • Full-service ED treats a wide variety of acutely ill and injured patients including sepsis, cardiac emergencies, respiratory emergencies, general surgery, stroke, orthopedic, and pediatrics care
