Overview
As a system medical director, you will be responsible for collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. You will serve as a leader both within the emergency department, and as a leader within the organization. Details
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and hospital administration
- Supervise the EM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
- Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff
- Position will lead both Petaluma Valley and Healdsburg Hospitals
- Director stipend: approx $110k/year
Salary
- Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W-2 base pay of $167/hour PLUS comprehensive USACS benefits, a 10% company-funded 401k and USACS ownership stock. Additional leadership stipend of approximately $110k/year.

Emergency Department
- ED Volume: 18,000
- Staffing Model: 33 hours
- Physician hours/coverage: 33 hours
- 12/12 physician shifts, 12-hour APP shifts
- EMR: Epic with Dragon
- Helipad for all emergency conditions requiring transfer
- Full-service ED treats a wide variety of acutely ill and injured patients including sepsis, cardiac emergencies, respiratory emergencies, general surgery, stroke, orthopedic, and pediatrics care
