Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Indiana University Health Physicians are seeking an experienced surgeon to join the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative group of physicians, in a well-established, fast paced, academic environment. This physician will provide services at the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital Level 1 Trauma center in downtown Indianapolis in addition to Roudebush VA Hospital.
The appropriate candidates will be responsible for cardiovascular surgery for adult cardiac surgical patients with procedures including CABG, Valve Replacement, TAVR, TEVAR, Valve Repair, Aortic, procurement, VAD and ECMO services in addition to teaching residents and students in their surgery specialty. They will support, and contribute to, a growing practice with highly collaborative and interdependent processes in place for successful patient outcomes. This is a full-time position; salary and academic / clinical rank will be commensurate with experience.
