Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an outstanding academic BC/BE Cardiovascular Surgeon to join the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, within the Department of Surgery in Temple, TX. The Central Texas region is the fastest growing area of the country and has attracted several noteworthy and diverse industries (Meta, Tesla and Samsung to name a few). The Cardiovascular Surgery program, under new leadership, is experiencing steady growth that is anticipated to continue over the next several years. Among its many highlights is the robust and growing Advanced Surgical Heart Failure Program. Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery and expected to contribute to the growth and development of disease based programs in partnership with the Divisions of Cardiology and Vascular Surgery. We are actively involved in medical student and resident education. Academic appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor through Baylor College of Medicine will be determined by experience and qualifications. The Division also has an active research program and is committed to supporting the right individual towards developing his / her research interest as well as their clinical career.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
