Deaconess Free Standing Emergency Medicine Physician Team:  

The Deaconess Free Standing Emergency Physician Team is a hospital employed physician group made up of full-time physicians as well as supplemental physicians.

Deaconess is seeking full time physicians to join the growing Emergency Medicine service line.

Deaconess is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician; prior EM experience and/or EM fellowship training is preferred but not required.

• Hybrid ER and Urgent Care
• 22,000 Approximate Annual Visits                                                                   

Schedule:

• 12-hour Physician Shifts Daily
• Holiday coverage is required
• Full-Time status is 12, 12-hour shifts/month (1,728 hours/year)

Salary Guarantee: $328,000 plus up to $164K in sign on incentives (sign on $50K; $75K student loan forgiveness, up to $24K in educational assistance, and up to $15K in relocation assistance)

The Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway is the only acute-care hospital in the region dedicated to heart and vascular care, and it’s unique in its use of a “universal bed” model, in which patients receive all levels of care in one room.

The Women's Hospital provides a complete range of health care services to women and infants.

Deaconess Orthopedic Neuroscience Hospital opened in 2018. This specialized hospital offers expanded surgical services for orthopedic or neuro surgeries, designated neuro post-surgical care units for spine surgeries, minimally-invasive neuro procedures, biopsies and brain surgeries.

STONE FAMILY CENTER

Evansville is home to the new Stone Center, which contains Indiana University School of Medicine – Evansville as well as programs for the University of Evansville and USI. More than 250 USI graduate-level students in the Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy, Master’s of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs, and 120 undergraduate, senior nursing students will use the Stone Center.
