Position Summary:

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming with clients at Westside Childrens Therapy, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Providing predominantly play-based therapy, the RBT will support Westside clients in the development of a wide variety of skills.

Essential Functions:

Implement direct therapy services for assigned clients and caseload, following programming written by BCBA
Engage with BCBA during regular supervision sessions to ask questions and receive feedback
Collect and record data on patients behavior
Complete and submit required documentation (SOAP notes, etc) in a timely manner, aligned with Westside's policies and procedures
Develop strong relationships with the children on your caseload and strive to make every session a fun experience
Participate in weekly team meetings with clinics ABA team

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

High school diploma or equivalent
Active RBT certification required within 60 days of hire

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Competence with a variety of computer applications
Comfortable persona to better develop relationships with children and their families

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Ability to learn and implement de-escalation skills for client sessions

Ability to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during played-based therapy

Travel Requirements

Some travel within assigned region for training, meetings and supporting client coverage needs.
