As an Associate General Dentist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive dental care to patients while contributing to the overall success of the dental practice. This position requires a strong commitment to patient satisfaction, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including but not limited to cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
* Perform routine dental examinations, cleanings, and preventive treatments.
* Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Interpret diagnostic images (X-rays) to assess oral health and identify issues.
* Work closely with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
* Collaborate with specialists for complex cases and referrals.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and clinical notes.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Stay abreast of advancements in dentistry and continuously update clinical knowledge.
* Participate in continuing education programs to enhance skills and maintain licensure.
* Effectively communicate treatment plans, procedures, and post-operative care instructions to patients.
* Address patient concerns and inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.
* Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
* Uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence and ethical conduct.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
* Previous experience working in a general dentistry practice is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong clinical skills in general dentistry procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
