The Hospital for Veterinary Surgery, the first surgery-exclusive veterinary hospital in New York City, is seeking to further build our clinical team with a compassionate, licensed, Anesthesia Technician/Technologist. This is a newly created position.

We are a collaborative team of passionate veterinary professionals, practicing in a clinician-designed, 10,000 square foot facility, having launched in July 2023. The practice of modern medicine in a state of the art and highly personalized environment is our primary goal for patients and clients.

The role requires experience with:

Anesthesia induction, management, and recovery
The ability to calculate drug dosages and CRIs
A knowledge of veterinary medications
The ability to anesthetize patients ASA 1-5
Proficiency in placing IV catheters
Diagnostic imaging
Proficiency in bandage placement preferred
Accuracy and an attention to detail
Ability work efficiently and ethically
Highly evolved written and verbal communication skills
Practice hours M-F, open availability preferred
