Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in a long-term care setting are responsible for monitoring residents' health by checking vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care. They assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating, ensuring their comfort and well-being. LPNs collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to each resident's needs. They document residents' health status and report any significant changes to the healthcare team for appropriate intervention.
