Job Summary
Reporting to the Lead Technologist, Diagnostic Radiology, the IR Technologist uses ionizing radiation to produce images of tissues, organs, bones and vessels that assist in the diagnosis of the disease or injury during IVR procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college, appropriate military training, or graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required.

Experience
Previous experience as a radiologic technologist preferred.
Previous experience in IVR preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification
Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire required.
Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
BLS healthcare provider required.

Skills
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Ability to maintain confidential information required.
