Reporting to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week plus on-call responsibilities. Schedule flexible either 5 - 8hour shifts Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm, or 4 - 10hour shifts 10:00am - 7:30pm.

Job Location: Report to Plainview, NY and covering Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island areas

Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory School and must have CRTT or RRT licensure in the states inquiring of employment and in good standing.
Current CPR certification.
Must be willing to get cross-licensed in other states at the company's expense.
Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standing.
At least 2 years' experience as a working Respiratory Therapist is preferred. Experience in the home setting is highly desirable.
Must have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update notes and other documentation electronically in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

Provides patients and family members with timely and accurate information and takes appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction.
Ability to initiate and develop good working relationships with patients, family members and referral sources is essential.
Ensures that the team plans daily events so as to be as efficient as possible with time management (e.g., minimizes travel time by planning routes ahead of time).
Assists with the proper scheduling of set ups and follow up visits according to company policies and standards.
Works closely with the RT Clinical Liaisons in coordinating patient discharges.
Ability to properly triage problems in the field in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies.
Ensures that the team follows proper procedures for accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, takes appropriate corrective actions.
Maintains strong knowledge of PromptCare's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are applied consistently.
Ensures that the team maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all times Fosters a culture wherein the team conducts activities with a mindset of delivering "white glove" service to the patients and family members.
Submits expense reports for travel at least once monthly and in a timely manner.
On-call responsibilities as needed.

Physical Demands

This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, and climbing all day. Lift and/or move 30 pounds or more.
