*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The BT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral challenges. This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to individuals, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.
*Responsibilities*
* Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
* Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes.
* Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on strategies that support client development.
* Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and modify care plans as necessary.
* Provide support in special education settings, ensuring that clients receive appropriate behavioral health interventions.
* Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to foster positive behavioral changes.
*Skills*
* Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
* Proficient in medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.
* Knowledge of care plan development and implementation.
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
* Ability to educate clients, families, and caregivers on behavioral strategies effectively.
* Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) support.
* Background in special education or related fields is a plus.
* Understanding of behavioral health concepts and practices.
* Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis techniques.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
