We're seeking *experienced Travel and/or Local (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurses in Corrections* for a 13-week contract assignment (_local or travel, with the probability of extending_) in various locations in *Pittsburgh, PA.*

*Qualifications:*
- At least 2 years of recent LPN for Corrections for the specialty you are applying for
- A current PA LPN License
- Current BLS, and/or Specialty Certifications

*Responsibilities:*
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Provide wound care, including dressing changes and suture removal
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and timely

*Requirements:*
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice (PA)
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules

*PAY: $33.00 to 41.50 Hourly depending whether you are travel or local.*

*Additional Requirements:*

- 2 current professional references
- Able to pass background/urine drug screening
- Basic computer skills
- Professional, friendly attitude
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff
