*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their maximum potential in daily living and working activities. This role requires a strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy, as well as the ability to develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
* Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
* Implement therapeutic interventions in various settings including acute care, outpatient clinics, and home health environments.
* Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families about treatment options, goals, and strategies for improvement.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and care plans in compliance with medical standards.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform treatment strategies.
* Experience in acute care settings and occupational health practices.
* Proficient in patient care techniques and the development of effective care plans.
* Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
* Ability to assess patient needs related to home health services.
* Competence in working with outpatient populations and understanding their unique challenges.
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Pay: From $41.18 per hour
