Kingston Rehabilitation Nursing Center, a proud member of the Eden East Network, is seeking a Nurse Educator / Infection Prevention Nurse to join our exceptional team!
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Executive team, Administrator, Director of Nursing (DON), and other staff members to ensure quality care.
* Provide education, training, and development, and oversee the implementation of the QAPI (Quality Assurance Performance Improvement) program.
* Lead the Infection Control program and conduct monthly meetings.
* Facilitate New Staff Orientation and Annual/Monthly In-Service and Competency Training.
* Maintain organized training and in-service documentation.
* Direct the QAPI program to monitor and improve facility practices.
* Communicate concerns and updates regularly with the Administrator and DON.
* Ensure all residents and staff are treated with fairness, dignity, kindness, and respect.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania.
* Previous experience in Nurse Education, Infection Control, or Nurse Management.
* At least 3 years of skilled nursing experience.
* Knowledge of state and federal survey processes and regulations.
