Ashland Health Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Ashland, KS.

Job Type:

Full-time, Sign-on bonus with contract

Job Relationships:

Responsible to: Radiology Director

Supervises: None

Interrelationships: Works cooperatively with all AHC departments and Medical Staff to ensure seamless transitions for patients between Radiology and other departments.

Job Summary:

Perform radiology services provided within the department, including x-rays and CT’s, while coordinating and reporting ultrasounds, and mammograms. Works cooperatively with other departments and medical staff.

Job Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology (X-ray and CT experience) within a healthcare setting.
• Must be proficient using a personal computer, copy machine, and a calculator.
• Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with patients, personnel, and support agencies.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Must have the desire/ability to learn EHR appropriate for the position.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s Degree in Diagnostic Imaging preferred.
• ARRT registered or eligible.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Registered or eligible for registry exam by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the state of Kansas.
• Maintain current license
• Maintains CEU’s as per State of Kansas requirements or ARRT requirements.
