Stang Family Eyecare is seeking an Optometrist to fill in on an as-needed basis to provide coverage while our current optometrists are out of the office. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who is able to engage with patients in a warm and professional manner.
We are currently seeking a candidate who is able to work a flexible schedule December 2024-January 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all duties associated with primary care optometry, including (but not limited to):
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
Provide pre- and post-operative care
Diagnose and treat eye-related diseases
Promote eye health by counseling patients
Work with and supervise other team members to ensure all patients receive exceptional service
Make patients feel comfortable and confident in your ability to serve them
Be a representative for our practice in a positive manner and excite others about our mission and value
COMPENSATION Stang Family Eyecare offers a competitive salary of $2500-$3000 per week based upon experience.
SCHEDULE This position offers a flexible schedule. This position will fill in as needed on a short-term basis. Currently, an optometrist is needed December 2024-January 2025. Outside of these dates, working hours will be flexible while optometrists are out of the office.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Optometry License in Michigan or eligible to obtain license before December 2024.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the latest optometric techniques.
