CIFHS is looking for a licensed mental health clinician to join our team and provide supervision to registered associates and externs.



*POSITION: Clinical*

*TITLE: Licensed Clinical Supervisor*

*Job Definition:*

The Licensed Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight for registered associates (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) and Externs. The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Head of Service and the Executive Director of the CIFHS and works directly with Program Managers to manage clinical services to clients, including psychosocial assessment/diagnosis, group and individual psychotherapy, family intervention, patient/family education, case management, and treatment planning. The Clinical Supervisor will oversee client caseload assignments, approve documentation of services, support professional development and collaborate with the supervision team. The Clinical Supervisor ensures the quality of client care and that clinical services are client centered, evidence-based, strength-based, culturally competent, and consistent with CIFHS mission as well as ethical and legal mandates.



*Specific Responsibilities:*

1. Oversee the management of client cases, ensuring effective treatment planning and use of appropriate interventions and coordination of care.

2. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Monitor and evaluate clinical work of supervisees, providing coaching, guidance, feedback and support.

4. Encourage registered associates and externs to develop accountability for practice and productivity.

5. Provide training to improve performance and professional development.

6. Supervise and manage individual/family/crisis counseling and group counseling.

7. Maintain a caseload of individual/ family/ crisis and /or group clients (can be negotiated).

8. Advocate and embrace the vision, mission, and goals of CIFHS.

9. Represent the agency to clinical partners, community groups, county and professional organizations.

10. Assist in the development of plans for outreach and community engagement.

11. Attend monthly supervisor meetings and contribute to agency planning.

12. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research and practice in the field of psychology and psychotherapy with an emphasis in the field of child abuse services and related laws in California.

13. Stay current with best practices, evidence-based interventions and regulations.

14. Maintain knowledge of laws that govern clinical licensure as L.C.S.W., M.F.T., Psychologist etc. in the state of California.

15. Other duties or special projects as assigned.



*Qualifications:*

Master's degree (supervisor eligible) or PhD/PsyD in the field of psychology, social work or counseling. Possess current licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (LMFT, LPCC or LCSW) or licensed Psychologist or Psychiatrist. Proven experience in clinical supervision in a mental health or health care setting. A minimum of 2 years direct experience working with adult, family and child/youth counseling. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and evidence-based treatment modalities. Experience with DMH and EHR preferred.
