Job Description: Clinical Regional Director (BCBA)
Golden Steps ABA is a mission driven Health Care Organization, that delivers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Responsibilities:
What you will do:
Oversee all clinical, strategic, and operational matters within the region.
Work alongside and oversee Clinical Directors to ensure clinical quality, clinical integrity, and quality assurance metrics are maintained and that the team performs to our standards and expectations.
Develop and maintain support plans related to each state job performance and metrics to ensure standards are met across each team member.
Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and collaboration opportunities overall in each state.
Provide consultation on complex client cases to support assessment, training, development, and implementation of strategies.
Participate in the development of and updating company-wide clinical systems aimed to monitor and improve clinical quality.
Complete clinical reviews and audits that include but are not limited to: session notes, programming, Treatment Plans, Initial Assessment Reports, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP's), competency checklists, etc.
Identify clinical training needs across the teams within the region.
Develop clinical leadership skill set of Clinical Directors.
Meet with State Directors to discuss state operations.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience overseeing and supporting multiple locations.
Experience implementing and training in a variety of assessment tools, including both skills and adaptive assessments.
3-5 years minimum experience managing performance of other BCBA level clinicians.
Minimum of 2 years' experience managing, leading, and/or overseeing business operations.
Experience implementing and training in a variety of assessment tools, including both skills and adaptive assessments.
Experience managing leaders.
Interpersonal Demands:
Frequent interaction with supervisor, senior leaders, and other teams. The ability to work in a high-stress environment, accept constructive feedback and work on areas of improvement, and manage interpersonal conflicts with trainees, supervisors, co-workers, or other team members is essential.
Attend corporate meetings and training as scheduled.
Attend trainings to earn CEU's and hear company updates as offered.
Conduct month group BCBA meetings.
Role/Team/Department:
Supervising Clinicians (BCBA/BC)
Behavior Technicians (BT/ RBT)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
Bending and squatting for up to an hour per day.
Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend kneel, squat sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
Education:
Master's Degree or Doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
License/Certification:
Active BCBA certification in good standing for 5 years or more
