JOB DESCRIPTION

As a clinic assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.
The clinic assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.
All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.

Work Schedule:

.8 FTE/32 hours per week. Day/evening shifts (combination of 12, 8 or 4-hour shifts) with an every third weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma/equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (current certification as a MA preferred), current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin, or graduate of an accredited EMT program.
Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in EPIC computer system
