Multisystemic Therapist
National Counseling Group, Inc. (an ncgCARE Partner) is seeking a therapist with mental health clinical training and experience to join our Manassas MST Team. This is an evidenced based program that focuses on well-researched community-based treatment model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their families.
Therapist will blend the best clinical treatments, to include but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and family therapy modalities within the MST model. Therapist will perform assessment of family strengths and needs, define problematic behaviors, and implement a treatment plan according to MST Standards. Therapist empowers parents and caregivers with the skills and resources needed to independently address difficulties that arise in raising adolescents and empower youth to cope with family, peer, school, and neighborhood problems.
Sessions are typically conducted in the family's home/community setting. Therapists work a flexible schedule based on the family's availability, school meeting and court hearing schedules. Therapists carry an average caseload of 6 clients.
Must be Licensed or Licensed Eligible
Starting salary range is 52,560.00 to 55,280.00
