Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and friendly manner. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with our dental team to ensure the best possible patient experience.

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
- Administer local anesthesia under the supervision of a dentist
- Conduct screenings for oral cancer and other dental diseases
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Qualifications:

- Certified Dental Hygienist with a valid license to practice
- Proficient in dental terminology, medical terminology, and Eaglesoft software
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to take vital signs and assist in medical imaging procedures
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
