Since it opened its doors in 2000, Upper Chesapeake Medical Center has grown inservices and size. An expansive renovation program completed in 2008 included anew, expanded Emergency Department including an area focused on pediatricpatients and surgical and inpatient bed capacity. A brand new parking garageand physician office pavilion brought convenience and much needed outpatientservices to the campus.
Adjacent to the Medical Center is the Ambulatory Care Center of Harford County, containing physician offices, outpatient imaging and laboratory procedures, outpatient pre-assessment testing, Upper Chesapeake Cardiovascular Institute, the Upper Chesapeake Surgical Pavilion, and the administrative offices of UCH. Also located next to the medical center, is a pre-existing medical office building with physician offices and other healthcare related services.
