Tanner Health System is a non-profit regional healthcare provider serving west Georgia and east Alabama. Tanner facilities include the 200+ bed acute care Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, the 40 bed acute care Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica, the 25 bed critical access Higgins General Hospital in Bremen and the 92 bed behavioral health facility Willowbrooke at Tanner. A fifth hospital, Tanner Medical Center/East Alabama, opened in Oct 2017 (Wedowee, AL).
