Emergency Medicine Medical Director-New York

Alteon Health is searching for an experienced Emergency Medicine Medical Director at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY.

The right candidate must be Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine with leadership experience. We support our providers with an excellent compensation package including health benefits , 401K with match, CME allowance, medical malpractice with tail coverage, and a generous directorship stipend.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated leadership ability and knowledge of administrative aspects of Emergency Medicine Strong communication skills with ability to interact positively with medical staff, nursing staff, patients, EMS and hospital administration. Agreement to work in accordance with Alteon Health’s initiatives and best interests.

Department Management Staffing/Recruiting/Scheduling, General Supervision/Orientation/Performance Reviews, Legal/Regulatory/Administrative, Meeting and Committee Participation, Contract Management & corporate communication
