Orange, located in Orange County, Texas, is about 113 miles east of Houston, near the Gulf of Mexico. It is the easternmost city in Texas and is on the Sabine River at the border with Louisiana. The area offers a close-knit, family-oriented community with friendly residents who are part of a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. There is a wide range of attractions and things to do with museums, entertainment districts, historic sites and outdoor activities all available in the area. Nature lovers enjoy the area with easy access to waterways for boating, fishing and crabbing. The county of Orange is surrounded by many excellent public-school systems with great facilities and outstanding teachers.
