Reid Health is a nonprofit, accredited health system with its main campus in Richmond, Indiana. As a 100-year-old hospital embedded in our surrounding communities, we strive to provide excellent care for our friends, and neighbors across an eight-county area in the region. About Our Community

Centrally located on the Indiana border, Richmond is a family-oriented community. The city with more than 35,000 residents is located within Wayne County, which has a population of more than 66,000 residents. Compared to the state average, Wayne County’s cost of living is 20% lower than the national average and ranks in the top 10 least expensive places to live in the U.S., according to the Economic Development Corporation of Wayne County.

 

The region offers quality public, private, and charter schools at the primary and secondary levels. Wayne County is home to Earlham College, Indiana University East, Purdue Polytechnic Richmond, Ivy Tech Community College, and two seminaries. Opportunities to learn, develop, and be challenged are ample with a wide variety of programs and organizations. Residents have access to job training and certifications to achieve their goals.
