About Us

Northwoods Medical Center is located in Taunton, MA, approximately 40 minutes south of Boston and with convenient access to major highways.  Its’ favorable location in Southeastern Massachusetts allows for easy travel in less than one hour to Boston, Cape Cod, Providence and Newport, RI. One of the oldest towns in the United States, Taunton is known as the “Silver City” and has a rich industrial and cultural history.  With approximately 60,000 residents, Taunton is home to a variety of businesses both large and small, as well as many schools, restaurants and historical sites. Taunton maintains a strong sense of “community” and the city and its businesses host a wide variety of family-friendly events and activities throughout the year.
