DMC Heart Hospital was designed with one goal in mind: to improve the heart health of Detroit, southeastern Michigan, and the entire region. The newest hospital in Detroit in a generation, our expert cardiologists know heart disease is the leading cause of death in the state of Michigan, and the nation. That’s why we have dedicated powerful resources to creating a cardiac care center that leads the region in research and care.

Our leading edge technology and facilities allow our team of cardiovascular specialists to deliver a full spectrum of services. From advanced diagnostics that allow our doctors to see the heart like never before, to an array of minimally invasive procedures designed to allow our DMC heart specialists to treat the problem with reduced pain, scarring and recovery time.

In 2014, the future of heart care was unveiled: the new DMC Heart Hospital. This completely new structure – the first new hospital in Detroit in a generation – is home to specialists in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, nuclear medicine, advanced cardiac diagnostics and CARDIO TEAM ONE.
