Carroll County Memorial Hospital Inc. provides a unique concept to rural healthcare not duplicated in north central Missouri or perhaps the Midwest. CCMH provides a licensed 25-bed critical access hospital, and a long-term care unit. CCMH manages 4-physician clinics with 3 physicians, a Physician Assistant and two Licensed Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, CCMH provides Lifestyle Fitness, a unique rehab and fitness center, which incorporates an indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, indoor 1/16 mile walking track, and state of the art fitness equipment with certified therapists and trainers providing therapy and programs to residents of Carroll County and the surrounding areas. CCMH also hosts Jefferson Park, an upscale 30 unit Independent Living Center and the Senior Center of Carroll County. This all takes place on a 11 acre campus located in Carrollton, MO

Carrollton is a city in Carroll County, Missouri. Carrollton won the 2005 All-America City Award given out annually by the National Civic League. The population was 3,784 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Carroll County and has several restaurants including JB's Steakhouse, Subway, Sonic, McDonald's, Burger Bar and Dari Maid, Main Street, Maxine's,and a few more. Our educational facilities include Carrollton Area Career Center, Carrollton High School; grades 9-12, Carrollton Junior High School; grades 7-8, Carrollton Elementary School; grades 2-6, and Adams School; grades Pre-K-1.

The town's recent claim to fame was its baseball team, the Carrollton Trojans, who finished 2nd in Class 2A baseball in their 2009-10 season. After advancing to the Final 4 in the MSHSAA Class 2A Baseball Championships, the Trojans defeated the Conway Bears (MO) 5-3, then fell to Crystal City (MO) in the title game, 10-1. The Trojans finished the season with a record of 19-3.
