Family Medicine/Same Day APP (experienced NP or PA) at Southway in St. Cloud, MN

CentraCare is hiring an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to work with our Family Medicine team at Southway in St. Cloud, MN seeing patients in a Same-Day clinic setting.  Position requires provider experience, ability to see all age ranges.

Responsibilities

As an APP provider seeing Same Day patients, you will independently see and treat patients of all ages for acute care needs such as:

• Abdominal pain
• Acute injury evaluation
• Cuts requiring stitches
• Fever, dehydration, nausea or vomiting
• Headaches/migraines
• Minor injuries; breaks, sprains and strains
• Pediatric illness and injuries

Schedule

• .8-1.0 FTE
• Monday through Friday day clinic hours; no evenings, overnights, weekends or holidays

Requirements

Eligibility for the position entails:

• Completion of a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency
• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
• Current or pending licensure in the State of Minnesota, licensed to see pediatrics through geriatrics
• BLS Certification

Experience

Position open to providers with one year of APP experience in any of the following areas:

• Family Medicine
• Emergency Department
• Pediatrics
• Same Day Clinic/Walk-In Clinic/Urgent Care
