Nurse Practitioner - Rheumatology - Blue Ash, OH

We are seeking a Part-Time licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our established Rheumatology care center in Blue Ash, OH situated in the inner suburb of Cincinnati and easy access to highways. 

Our AARA care center has 1 Physician, 2 Physicians Assistants, 5 exam rooms, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite with 2 chairs, lab services, joint injections, subcutaneous injection, and a highly skilled dedicated team. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, such as arthritis, lupus and gout. In addition to our wide range of treatments, we also focus on lifestyle modifications for long term health and quality of care.

A Day in the life of a Rheumatology APP

Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
• Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
• Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans
• Oversee patients’ overall health
• Promote good health practices
• Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
• Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician

Requirements:

• New grads or experienced Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine preferred
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent and timely communication skills - verbal, and written
• Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable
• Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism
• Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn
• Valid Ohio Nurse Practitioner & DEA license
