Rheumatology Opportunity

We are seeking a Full-Time licensed Physician Assistant to join our established Rheumatology care center in Sebring & Winter Haven, FL.

Our care center has 1 Physician, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 5 exam rooms, joint injections, and a dedicated staff. We provide compassionate and personalized care for patients with arthritis, systemic autoimmune diseases, Osteoporosis and other rheumatological and inflammatory disorders that affect the bones, muscles and joints.

A Day in the life of a Rheumatology APP

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
  • Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
  • Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
  • Oversee patients’ overall health
  • Promote good health practices
  • Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
  • Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician

Requirements:

  • New grads and experienced Physician Assistant in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine are welcome to apply
  • Willing to work in both locations 50 % of the time
  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English a plus
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent and timely communication skills - verbal, and written
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable
  • Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism
  • Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • Valid Florida Physician Assistant & DEA license
