Responsibilities- In keeping with the Dignity Health mission and standards the Physician Assistant (PA) reports to the Director of Perioperative Services.
- During the assisting phase and until conclusion of the operative procedure the PA performs duties under the direction of the surgeon.
- The Responsibilities include assessment planning intervention evaluation and standards of Physician Assistants practice and optimal outcomes.
- Directly partners with surgeon intraoperatively and assists with patient positioning.
- Will function as a liaison between physicians nursing staff and allied healthcare professionals.
- Needs to recognize that they have an affirmative duty and responsibility for reporting perceived misconduct including actual or potential violation of laws regulations policies procedures or this organizations standards/code of conduct.
Qualifications- Two (2) years intraoperative experience in assisting the surgeon in the OR.
- Preferred: Two (2) years intraoperative experience in assisting the surgeon in robotic surgery.
- Must have graduated from a program of instruction for Physician Assistants recognized and approved by the California Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants//Master’s Degree

- CA PA License
Pay Range$62.24 - $90.24 /hour
