About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider with our Safe and Healthy Families team, you will work with healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will provide care to pediatric patients at Carbon County Children's Justice Center, located in Price, Utah, and at the Grand County Children's Justice Center, located in Moab, Utah. The Children’s Justice Center is a home-like facility that serves children who may have been physically or sexually abused. The center is designed to help children feel safe and comfortable, with a child-friendly atmosphere and the interview rooms are designed with children in mind. Children visit the center while investigators and a medical team meet with them and their parents. The role of the APP is to conduct medical examinations, assessments, and partner with the child and family care team to ensure the well-being of the child.
 

?This position allows for flexible scheduling. The APP will typically work 12 hours per week, splitting time between the two centers. Hours may be variable to meet patient care needs.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).

  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

  • Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.

  • Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.

  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

  • Preferred: prior pediatric clinical experience.
