  • The practice is hiring a Family OR Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Experienced providers and new grads are welcome to apply
  • Start date will be 120 days after having a signed offer to allow for credentialing lead time
  • Work hours Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00
  • 100% outpatient care with no hospital responsibility
  • After-hours call coverage is shared among 9 providers - 3 to 4 days every 4th week.
  • Average 18-20 patients per day after ramp up period
  • Patient panel is age 16 and up - adult/geriatric - but open to all ages
  • Support and Ancillary services:  Point of Care Testing, in-office Lab, X-ray Tech, PharmD to assist with patient medication and assistance program
  • All our providers have 1:1 dedicated support from CMA/LPN
  • EPIC EMR and MyChart for telehealth
  • Looking for a mature Nurse Practitioner that fosters relationships with their patients and who is able to work collaboratively in a group setting.  Our team is very outcomes focused and places a high priority on patient experience of care.  Provider must be proficient at health maintenance, managing diabetes and hypertension, women's health and Medicare Annual Wellness visits.

Laburnum Medical Center

Laburnum Medical Center has been part of the Eastern Henrico County of Richmond for over 50 years!  Our dedicated and caring Family Medicine Physician team cares for children, adults and geriatric alike.  The practice has direct access to public transportation, and is less than one mile off the Laburnum exit off I-64.
