Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 600+ provider multi-specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a robust clinic-based practice and work full-time at its Bown Crossing clinic on the east side of Boise.  The APP would work in a team-based model with two well-established Family Medicine Physicians to manage full and complex patient panels.  At the Bown Crossing clinic, Family Medicine providers are dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of patients to include birth to end of life. Other services at this practice location include Urgent Care, and on-site digital x-ray and laboratory services, as well as STARS Physical Therapy. 

The schedule for this full-time opportunity is a traditional clinic work week, full time, M-F; no less than 36 hours of scheduled patient contact time.

Support includes 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM, Urgent Care and PT clinics on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources.    

Requirements for this opportunity include:

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• A strong medical background and a desire to provide acute care to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.  In providing this support, you will obtain Idaho medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System's general internal program across all communities we serve. 

The Bown Crossing Clinic is only six years old and sits next to a library, an elementary school, and is within walking distance of Boise’s beautiful greenbelt and foothills.

We utilize EPIC EHR, and you can count on resources to ensure your days run smoothly and your patients receive the best care: 1:1 Medical Assistants, team nurses, population health support and referral resources.
