Join our dynamic team at Mercy Health Maumee Bay Orthopedics, a leading provider of general orthopedic care with a focus on Total Joints. We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic APC to enhance our practice by supporting our physicians and delivering exceptional care to our patients.
In this role, you will assist orthopedic physicians by managing post-operative care, evaluating nonsurgical musculoskeletal issues, and preparing surgical cases. You will also run your own clinic, focusing on nonsurgical and post-operative care, and perform procedures like joint injections, splinting, and casting. Your office hours will involve initial work-ups, post-operative visits, and nonsurgical consultations.
You’ll be supported by a dedicated team, including Medical Assistants (MAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), X-ray technicians, front desk staff, an office manager, and a surgery scheduler. You’ll also collaborate with other orthopedic specialists and receive mentorship from Dr. Morse.
The position has a schedule of 5 days per week, each 8 hours long, with rotational weekend clinics. You’ll spend 2.5 days working with physicians and 2.5 days managing your own clinic.
