Bi-Lingual Full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at OBGYN private practice in Celebration, FL!

Our affiliated practice is seeking a Bi-Lingual Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for full time employment at our newest care center in Celebration, Florida!

Position Highlights:

• Our newest care center has two experienced OBGYNs!
• Our office location is minutes away from Advent Health Celebration Hospital in Kissimmee that has a Level II NICU.
• Clinic patient volume will be an estimated 20-25 patients per day.
• Office Hours:
• Mon - Thurs: 8:30am-4:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am- noon
• Night clinic (offered 1x a week) 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Work week: 4 full days + half day on Friday
• Fully licensed medical team and support staff, including your own MA

Job Description:

• Perform annual examinations, patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
• Provide post-natal care, family planning services including birth control and patient education and counseling.
• Perform IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals,  colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies
• Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
• Hospital rounding daily prior to clinic to evaluate  post partum patients

Requirements:

• Bi-Lingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese)
• National Nurse Practitioner of Physician Assistant certification
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• Minimum of One year of full-time OBGYN/Women’s Health experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
