Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. As a vital member of our internal medicine department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population of adults with a range of chronic and acute conditions. Your expertise will enable you to perform comprehensive health assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed patient assessments and obtain medical histories.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Conduct routine physical examinations and preventive screenings.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
  • Provide patient education on health management and disease prevention.

Requirements:

  • Missouri licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and manage patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
