Saratoga Hospital Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner committed to best practice and recognized standards of care for wound healing to join our team. We offer compassionate, patient-centered care using advanced diagnostic tools, equipment, techniques, treatments, working within the full spectrum of wound care.
Our wound healing team typically sees wound patients who have multiple other conditions, such as diabetes, poor circulation, nerve damage or other concerns. The program serves patients of all ages seeking relief from minor burns, delayed radiation skin injuries due to cancer treatments, surgical wound reopening, wounds associated with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and scleroderma (autoimmune disorders), as well as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries (bed sores) and venous leg ulcers.
Our practice is located in a recently renovated building at the Wilton Mall in Saratoga, equipped with two hyperbaric oxygen therapy units. Our practice is temporarily located at Saratoga Medical Park at Malta.
Join a highly experienced physician and Physician Assistant. Lee Ruotsi, MD, leads our team as the medical director of Saratoga Hospital Medical Group – Wound Healing, with nearly 20 years of wound healing and hyperbaric medicine experience. He is board certified in Wound Care by the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery as well as the American Board of Wound Management, and is board certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He lectures and teaches nationally and internationally on topics related to wound care and hyperbaric medicine, sits on the board of directors of the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel and is faculty on the Wound Certification Prep Course. The provider will work with Dr. Ruotsi and the team to provide individualized care, working closely with primary care and other specialists as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program. A minimum of two years of experience is required. Previous wound care experience is preferred.

Saratoga Hospital and The Saratoga Regional YMCA opened a 55,000 square foot facility on the Malta campus in 2018, a shared facility that is the home for hospital-affiliated medical and specialty offices and the Y’s Malta Branch.
