Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in Panama City, Florida

Our affiliated practice Emerald Coast OBGYN is seeking a Full Time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) in Panama City, Florida. Emerald Coast OBGYN, LLC is a single-specialty practice is a dedicated medical care team specializing exclusively in women’s health services. We have built and have plans to expand our fantastic team to provide excellent services to women in Bay County. Our team provides personalized, professional, and state-of-the-art medical care to our valued patients.

Position Description/Highlights:

• No call requirement
• Schedule: 4-day work week
• Patient Load: 18-21 patients per day
• Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, order diagnostic testing and perform procedures, such as Colposcopies, EMBX, IUD/Nexplanon insertions and removals, etc.
• Provide family planning services, well-woman exams, patient education, and counseling.
• Work closely with our board-certified physicians to provide excellent patient care.
• Experienced medical team and support staff to assist with day-to-day patient care.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years as a practicing full time WHNP
• NCC Board Certification 
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State of Florida or ability to obtain.
• Current unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain.
• BLS Certification or ability to obtain.
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, providers, team members and management.
• Ability to make patient care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision by a physician.
