Banner - University Medicine Tucson is actively interviewing experienced APP's (Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) to join our thriving Neurosurgery Department at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. As the region's only accredited Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center serving the Southern Arizona community with exceptional patient care and empathy. Our advanced practice providers are continually learning, adapting, and involved in the clinical management of neurological surgery patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research to treat the diverse patient population in the region.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with 2+ years of experience
  • PA/NP Board Certification
  • DEA license, BLS, CPR, ACLS certification
  • Direct patient care (inpatient)
  • First assist in Neurosurgery cases
  • Team player with a willingness to learn and thrive in an academic environment

  • 2 full days of clinic, plus 2 12-hour inpatient shifts
  • Weekends included
