Position Highlights:

• Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital that provides a full range of Cardiac and Electrophysiology medicine.
• Ambulatory Surgery center on campus
• Collaborative and team focused atmosphere
• Full complement of support teams to assist with patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting physicians with new and follow-up patient visits during attending office hours; in office device interrogation, creating treatment plans in collaboration with physicians 
• Triage phone calls and arrange for patient follow-up as appropriate
• Communicate patient care plan with PCPs, cardiologists and specialists
• Providing post-procedure wound checks/ office visits

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of Physician Assistant experience in Cardiology preferred
• Master’s degree in nursing with advanced skills in physical assessment OR possession of a Bachelor’s degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician assistant program.
• Current unrestricted license to practice and use the title of Physician Assistant in NYS

New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $114,784 to $154,951 per year.
