Exciting Adult Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Sunny Tucson

Banner University Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed Academic Primary Care Team in Tucson, AZ. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with physician residents and attendings while managing complex patients in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who can work autonomously within a team-based environment, ensuring seamless patient care and contributing to a dynamic, patient-centered practice.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday | 9 clinic sessions/week (8 a.m. - 12 p.m., 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
  • Patient Volume: 16 patients/day
  • Collaborative Care: Function as a collaborative partner with residents and other clinicians in a team-oriented environment
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Manage patient care, well and sick visits, hospital follow-ups, annual wellness visits, diagnostic tests, medication prescriptions, education, and consultation
  • Opportunities for Growth: Contribute to research and utilize resources for continued professional development

Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner: FNP, AGACNP, or ACNP
  • 3+ years of Primary Care experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
  • Current Arizona License or eligibility to obtain
  • Board Certification and current CPR, BLS, ACLS
  • DEA license for controlled substances (or eligibility)
