Pediatric Anaesthesia Associates PSC, located in Louisville, Kentucky, currently is recruiting multiple certified registered nurse anesthetists to join its growing metropolitan practice.
Candidates have a unique opportunity to join this well-established private practice group that is affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Currently, the practice includes 15 physicians, 15 certified registered nurse anesthetists, two sedation nurse practitioners and three preoperative nurse practitioners.
Pediatric Anaesthesia Associates is the exclusive provider of pediatric anesthesiology services at Norton Children’s Hospital, a verified Level I Children’s Surgery Center by the American College of Surgeons. The hospital offers a 101-bed Level IV neonatal intensive care unit. Norton Children’s Hospital was ranked the No. 1 Best Children’s Hospital in Kentucky for 2023-2024 by U.S. News & World Report, and is nationally ranked in six pediatric specialties.
In addition to supporting Norton Children’s Hospital, Pediatric Anaesthesia Associates provides daytime coverage for two pediatric outpatient surgery centers at Norton Children’s Medical Center and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

About the Positions
- Perform anesthesia services for pediatric patients from prenatal/neonatal through adolescence
- Support inpatient and outpatient surgery at Norton Children’s Hospital, as well as outpatient surgery at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Norton Children’s Medical Center
- Participate in 24/7 team coverage at Norton Children’s Hospital
- Provide sedation services for screenings, including CT, MRI and PET scans; interventional radiology; and nuclear medicine
- Provide anesthesia services for two pediatric outpatient surgery centers on some weeks
- Collaborate with surgeons, neonatologists, pediatric critical care specialists, emergency medicine specialists, pediatric hospitalists, pediatricians, gastroenterologists and other specialists in a system of comprehensive pediatric care
- Work in a collaborative, team practice model with board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists
- Experience in pediatric anesthesia not required
- Full-time night shift coverage, working three 12-hour nights with the rest of the week off; paid at a premium rate
- Weekend and holiday coverage required; paid at a premium rate

- Malpractice insurance provided by the anesthesia group

Requirements for the position
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Current, valid Kentucky registered nurse license
- Current, valid certification as a registered nurse anesthetist
