FULL TIME PEDIATRIC CRNA POSITION:

    • Perform anesthesia services for the entire spectrum of pediatric patients from prenatal/neonatal consultation through adolescence.
    • Support inpatient and outpatient surgery at Norton Children’s  Hospital, as well as outpatient surgery at Norton Children’s Medical Center and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
    • Provide sedation services for a variety of cases including MRI, CT, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear medicine and PET scans.  
    • Collaborate with surgeons, neonatologists, pediatric critical care specialists, emergency medicine specialists, pediatric hospitalists, pediatricians, gastroenterologists and other specialists in a system of comprehensive pediatric care. 
    • Work in a collaborative, team practice model with board certified pediatric anesthesiologists.

 ABOUT THE POSITION: 

    • Physician-owned private practice, with an academic affiliation with the University of Louisville School of Medicine and partnership with multiple CRNA programs in the area. 
    • Provide 24/7 coverage at Norton Children’s Hospital. 
    • Provide anesthesia services for 2 pediatric outpatient surgery facilities on some weeks. 
    • Opportunity to practice 100% pediatric anesthesia. 
    • Night shift coverage with 3 12 hour nights worked and the rest of the week off. Paid at a premium rate.
    • Weekend and Holiday coverage required. Paid at a premium rate.

    • Malpractice insurance provided by the anesthesia group. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program. 
  • Current, valid RN AND CRNA Kentucky license. 
  • Experience in pediatric anesthesia is not required.
